Most Important Thing We Can Tell You... How You Can Know God..... God Loves Us and He Has A Plan for Us God created all of us in His own image to learn to love him and to experience a full and happy life with the assurance of eternal life. Jesus said, "...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest." (John 10:10) "...we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1) God wants his People to follow him. Making a choice not to follow God and accept his Son causes separation from God. God created us but he did not create us to automatically chose to love and obey him. He gave us the ability to make choices. Many people choose not to follow God. That is how they are separated from God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) "...your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear." (Isiah 59:2) You can't do it on your own. No matter how many good works you do, how much you give to the church, how moral you are it will not give you God's forgiveness. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death (Proverbs 14:12) Jesus Christ is the only answer, the only way to eternal life and peace. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the price for our sin and bridging the bridge between God and all people. "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God..." (I Peter 3:18) "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." (I Timothy 2:15) "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) Believing in Jesus means trust and commitment - acknowledging our sinfulness, trusting Christ's forgiveness and letting Him control our life. Eternal, abundant life is a gift for us to receive. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed from death to life." (John 5:24) Is there any reason you shouldn't decide to follow Jesus today? How to Receive Christ: -Admit you are a sinner -Be willing to turn from your sin -Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave -Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life. Receive Him as Lord and Savior of your life. What to Pray: Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins.
